Cardi B is officially entering the beauty space. The superstar rapper surprised the internet with news that her hair brand, Grow Good Beauty, is coming soon and fans couldn\u2019t be more excited.<\/p>\n
In her Instagram stories, Cardi dished on the project that\u2019s taken her years to perfect\u2014and no, it wasn\u2019t her new album, Am I the Drama?<\/em> \u201cToday, I\u2019m gonna preview something that I\u2019ve been working on for the past three years. I\u2019m excited, this is my baby, and it is something that is very highly requested,\u201d she said moments before unveiling behind-the-scenes footage of Grow Good Beauty.<\/p>\n <\/center> <\/p>\n The story begins with a video clip circa 2023, where the rapper shows off her lengthy, natural hair, that, according to Cardi, has taken her almost seven years to grow. \u201cI\u2019m not going to tell you what I\u2019m using on it [my hair] because I have to test it out myself first,\u201d she says. She continues, saying that this is something she\u2019s been very passionate about and has been working on for such a long time.<\/p>\n Beyond the tests and trial runs, the rapper notes that Good Grow Beauty isn\u2019t going to be just another celebrity beauty brand. \u201cThis is Belcalis, Bronx girl, mother of four,\u201d making it clear that her roots and personality are deeply infused into the brand. She explains that while she didn\u2019t always love her natural hair when she was younger\u2014a plight many Black and Brown women can attest to\u2014she grew to love, appreciate and accept it.<\/p>\n While the full lineup of products is still under wraps, it\u2019s clear that Good Grow Beauty will be shaking things up.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
