Kaley Cuoco has always been open about her plastic surgery and cosmetic treatments, and this time is no different. Chatting with Amanda Hirsch on an episode of her Not Skinny But Not Fat<\/em> podcast, Cuoco talked about it, including how many times she\u2019s gotten breast implants and a funny inaugural neurotoxin experience. The episode aired Tuesday.<\/p>\n <\/center> <\/p>\n Back in 2014, long before celebrities were as transparent about any cosmetic work they got done as they are now, Cuoco shared she first got breast implants in 2004, at age 18. Now, fast forward more than 20 years since her original surgery, and Cuoco is again opening up about her breast implant experience, which she\u2019s called \u201cthe best decision\u201d she\u2019s ever made.<\/p>\n In the Not Skinny But Not Fat<\/em> interview, Hirsch brings up that Cuoco was one of the first celebs to talk about getting work done, with Cuoco joking that she\u2019s the \u201cleader of the pack.\u201d Cuoco then shares that since it\u2019s been 20 years since her first pair of breast implants, she\u2019s actually on her second pair now, but this may not even be her last. \u201cI would love a third pair,\u201d Cuoco revealed on the episode.<\/p>\n Depending on the age you get breast implants, you may need to consider multiple pairs, as Cuoco has done. \u201cThere is no finite time frame for implant replacement,\u201d says Eugene, OR plastic surgeon Mark Jewell, MD. \u201cCurrent-generation implants should last many years.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Dr. Jewell notes that some breast implant brands, such as Mentor, have a \u201c24 percent rupture rate at 10 years.\u201d This means that around 10 years post-surgery, you may need a replacement. \u201cAll manufacturer\u2019s implants may leak or disrupt and benefit from replacement,\u201d says La Jolla, CA plastic surgeon Robert Singer, MD. \u201cWhile many patients will only need one set of implants, a patient must be aware that implants may not last forever.\u201d<\/p>\n Rather than waiting to find out that you need replacement implants, after a rupture or other negative effect has occurred, \u201cperiodic diagnostic ultrasound imaging to determine implant integrity every year or so,\u201d recommends Dr. Jewell. \u201cUltrasound exams can be performed by the plastic surgeon in the office.\u201d<\/p>\n The Big Bang Theory<\/em> actress has also been open about other work she\u2019s gotten done over the years, including a rhinoplasty, neurotoxins and filler. Earlier in the conversation, she also shared that she gets filler in her neck treat lines she\u2019s had her whole life.<\/p>\n She also revealed her own funny first experience with neurotoxins, which she first tried about halfway through filming The Big Bang Theory<\/em>. \u201cMy first Botox, I did my forehead and I did all this stuff and I was so excited,\u201d Cuoco told Hirsch. \u201cThere is a scene where I have to do this thing with my face and I could not move.\u201d So she\u2019s since re-evaluated where to get neurotoxin injections, and instead focuses on areas like her crow\u2019s feet and neck, \u201cNow I don\u2019t do my forehead, but sister, I love Botox,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
