Now, the childhood friends are reuniting for Rare Beauty\u2019s new campaign, aptly called \u201cStill Making Each Other Blush.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-md mb-6 leading-relaxed text-gray-500\">The campaign launched on Instagram on Wednesday, October 28 with a reel that feels straight out of 2008. Posted jointly by @rarebeauty and @ddlovato, it shows the pair dancing, laughing and singing into a hairbrush in a pink bedroom set, shot homemade-vlog style. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-segment\">\n<p class=\"text-md mb-6 leading-relaxed text-gray-500\">\u201cYO YO YO \ud83e\udd2d\ud83d\udc97 18 years later, Delena is back with a vlog,\u201d the caption reads, a nod to their 2008 YouTube video, which Miley Cyrus and Mandy Jiroux infamously parodied at the time. Look closely and you\u2019ll spot a notebook of \u201cfan questions\u201d signed with usernames <em class=\"italic\">Camp Rock<\/em> fans will recognize. A second post goes full princess. Gomez wears a teal ruffled gown and tiara, Lovato a yellow gown and crown, and they\u2019re perched on vintage suitcases in a shot resembling their <em class=\"italic\">Princess Protection Program<\/em> movie poster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-md mb-6 leading-relaxed text-gray-500\">Then there\u2019s the blush: the limited-edition Delena: Soft Pinch Blush Bundle ($50). The set pairs each star\u2019s favorite shade of Rare Beauty\u2019s Soft Pinch Liquid Blush: Hope, a nude mauve, for Gomez and Virtue, a beige peach, for Lovato. Both shades have a dewy finish, and the set comes with the Soft Pinch Blush Brush.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-md mb-6 leading-relaxed text-gray-500\">\u201cSelena and I have shared a lot of memories over the years since childhood, so being able to connect in this way, in a campaign that feels so nostalgic to both of us, is such a full-circle moment,\u201d Lovato said in a statement. \u201cBeing on set together felt like we were back in our old bedrooms making YouTube videos and playing with makeup.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-md mb-6 leading-relaxed text-gray-500\">\u201cThe experiences I\u2019ve shared with Demi are truly unique,\u201d Gomez added. \u201cComing together for this campaign was a beautiful reminder of that history and a chance to celebrate who we are today.
