Happy birthday, Kelly Ripa! The daytime TV fixture turns 56 today, and she\u2019s one of the many celebrities who seem to have been blessed with the Benjamin Button effect. Despite saying numerous times that she doesn\u2019t get much sleep, her skin still looks smooth, firm and glowing. And after marking 25 years on Live<\/em> this past February alongside her husband and Live With Kelly and Mark<\/em> cohost, Mark Consuelos, she looks more radiant than ever.<\/p>\n

Ripa told NY Mag<\/em> that she doubles down on sunscreen now after paying the price for the damage she did to her skin as a teenager in the Jersey Shore sun. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I like about this\u00a0sunscreen, first of all, is that it\u2019s full-coverage. It\u2019s that broad-spectrum, UVA-UVB and whatnot\u00a0sunscreen, but it\u2019s tinted in a way that sort of makes you look sun-kissed and not a weird color. A lot of\u00a0tinted products\u00a0tend to make you look orange or way too dark, to the point where you don\u2019t even look like yourself. This is just like a light coverage, so it looks like maybe you put on\u00a0foundation, maybe you didn\u2019t, who knows?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ripa has been open about her love for Botox for more than a decade, which is super refreshing (why can\u2019t all celebs just be honest about their tox!). <\/p>\n

Back in 2012, Ripa told Marlo Thomas, \u201cMy biggest secret is not that big of a secret: I just get Botox and it helps everything. Mark likes to say that Botox changed his life, and he doesn\u2019t have any\u2014because it takes me half as long to get ready now without the perma-frown. I think this oil works really well for my skin. First of all, it\u2019s beautifully scented. Like, my husband wants to kiss my face after I put it on. <\/p>\n

Second, it feels great. I apply it first thing in the morning when I\u2019m fresh out of the shower, and then right before I go to bed. Every night, no matter how tired you are, no matter how fun the club was, you have to do it. <\/p>\n
