The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards are here\u2014and this year\u2019s manicures are really, really good. The annual celebration of the best in television took place Monday, September 14, with longtime Law & Order: Special Victims Unit<\/em> star Mariska Hargitay serving as host. Stars in attendance included Selena Gomez, Ciara Miller and Supriya Ganesh, among the many attendees who brought not only their fashion A-game but also\u2014as promised\u2014some of the night\u2019s best nail looks, from intricate nail art to French manicures and beyond.<\/p>\n

One of the night\u2019s standouts was Gomez\u2019s \u201csunset frost\u201d manicure, created by her go-to manicurist, Tom Bachik. Known for sharing his celebrity nail looks on social media, Bachik posted the manicure shortly after Gomez hit the step-and-repeat. \u201cThe inspiration was her Louis Vuitton gown,\u201d he said of the manicure. \u201cWe loved the whole look. It was like frosted gold, so I wanted that same effect on the nail,\u00a0a frosted\u00a0metallic. Subtle but special.
