Kristen Bell has an announcement: Unveiled today, the actress\u2014most recently known and loved for her role in Netflix\u2019s Nobody Wants This<\/em>\u2014has been named L’Or\u00e9al Paris\u2019s new global ambassador. The new gig will have her fronting the beloved drugstore beauty brand\u2019s skin, hair and makeup lines, starting with its Age Perfect Midnight Cream ($29).<\/p>\n

The news is making its rounds on social media, where the brand has shared its first campaign video with Bell. In it, she (with the help of an unseen narrator), introduces herself: \u201cYou may know her as a princess or a private eye,\u201d the narrator says, as Bell adds she\u2019s also \u201ca mom, a dog lover and very competitive.\u201d After a quick rundown of her chaos-proof, joie de vivre energy, Bell turns to camera: \u201cHi, I’m Kristen Bell, and I am the newest global brand ambassador for L’Or\u00e9al Paris. And yes, I’m worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her relationship with the brand is quite relatable. \u201cI remember sneaking into my mom\u2019s vanity, stealing five minutes with the L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris lipstick before she caught me,\u201d Bell said in a statement. \u201cLooking back, that wasn\u2019t really about the lipstick\u2014I was trying on who I might become. I didn\u2019t need L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris to tell me who that was. But they gave me the tools to go find out, and they\u2019ve been doing that for women for decades: not handing us an identity, but handing us permission to go try one. As revealed in an interview with Elle<\/em>, the newest product Bell\u2019s fallen in love with from the brand hasn\u2019t had to be a secret. On set for her campaign shoot, she met the Hyaluron Tint Lip Stain Serum ($14), particularly the shade 601, fittingly named \u201cI’m Worth It.\u201d She revealed to the outlet that she\u2019s \u201ctried pretty much every lip color that L’Or\u00e9al Paris has,\u201d which is what makes it so notable that this one earned her declaration that it\u2019s the \u201cbest lip color that’s ever been created.\u201d<\/p>\n
