The manicure is the latest extension of the coastal lifestyle that\u2019s been dominating fashion, beauty and more. As Taurua puts it, \u201cI think this is the perfect trend suited to relaxing by the ocean with a book in hand and perhaps a martini,\u201d she says. \u201cAnd if you\u2019re not on holiday or having a Euro summer, this fun nail trend can bring a hint of the Mediterranean closer to home.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to interest on Fresha, Pinterest search for sardine nails is also up 281 percent. \u201cSardine nails might sound unexpected, but they\u2019ve quickly become one of the internet\u2019s favorite nail trends,\u201d Cosmetify beauty trend expert Carly Cochrane previously told NewBeauty<\/em>. \u201cInspired by the rise of fisherman aesthetics and quirky Mediterranean fashion trends, these manicures feature tiny illustrated sardines, silver chrome details and coastal color palettes.\u201d<\/p>\n
