Chloe Fineman makes me laugh out loud weekly on Saturday Night Live<\/em>, whether she\u2019s doing spot-on impressions or an unhinged dance bit with Harry Styles. I got to sit down with the comedian\u2014and newly appointed unlicensed shower therapist\u2014on behalf of Olly Body Washes to chat about some of her favorite moments on set this year and how she gets unready after a late night at work. I also had the distinct pleasure of explaining to her what a shower beer is\u2014and she was repulsed. Read on for more.<\/p>\n \u201cSo many. I\u2019m really having fun. I made a decision that I\u2019ll come back for this year, and I just have to enjoy it\u2014otherwise there\u2019s no point. And I love working with everybody. I mean, I loved Harry Styles, what a cutie. I made him laugh, and that was fun. He\u2019s like one of us, he\u2019s the best.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve got it lined up, actually. I feel like no one talks about their shower lineup, but I\u2019ve got it: toothbrush, toothpaste, razor blade, in the shower, baby, oil cleanser, gel cleanser, we\u2019re doing it all. It\u2019s on lock. Phone down here, repeating an Instagram I can\u2019t get out of because my hands are wet, which happens a lot\u2014and if anyone knew what video was being repeated constantly, it\u2019s like Julia Fox talking about something, a Pivot podcast video repeating or a short-circuiting TikTok video.<\/p>\n Then I\u2019ve got my Olly Body Wash ($7) that I\u2019m mixing and matching, I\u2019m renewing, I\u2019m calming. I like to make a bubble bath. I\u2019m more of a bath person, I\u2019ll be honest, but if I\u2019m really in a pickle, I\u2019ll take a shower. I like to think of myself as French, spiritually. None of me genetically is French, but there\u2019s something very French about a bath. I\u2019m just kind of soaking, and that\u2019s my power tub or power shower. It\u2019s flow state in the tub. It really is all in the tub. The toothbrush is the last step, then I spit it in my sink because it\u2019s right there, but I\u2019ll oil cleanse and gel cleanse in the tub, and I kind of sit in the tub, and I go like pretends to dip face in bathwater<\/em> that.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI literally motorboat the water. I do motorboat the water. I did that today. It\u2019s refreshing. You have the body wash in there, and it\u2019s all happening. I don\u2019t have a UTI yet, so it\u2019s working.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, I found my apartment by looking for a bath. I just needed a bath. I went on StreetEasy, and I put in \u2018bath\u2019 and \u2018brick\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cA shower beer is really dark, I\u2019ll be honest. That\u2019s so dark, that\u2019s darker than me brushing my teeth in the tub. A shower beer? Ew! No!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy credentials are that I\u2019m a woman and I am in my 30s. I\u2019m not going to tell you my age, but I\u2019ve lived some life, maybe more than you think. I\u2019ve made a lot of mistakes, but I\u2019m not doing badly, and I feel like I have a lot to say. We\u2019re all living our lives and being chaos queens, but there\u2019s a lot of wisdom to come from moi to you.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy mood that I would like to fix is to be calm because I\u2019m not calm ever. Since moving to New York, I feel like it\u2019s turned me into\u2026I feel like I need a new name. Like I\u2019m Chloe, and I become Chlodine or something. I kind of pop off a little bit. Everything is really loud, every day is a journey of hell, but I love it! I have a mouse problem right now. At every turn, I\u2019m not calm, so it\u2019s really nice that Olly has created this beautiful body wash where I can breathe in these scents that change my mood and make a calm wash over me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\nDo you have any favorite moments from work this year?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
